Video: Capri, Day 2

by Preston Travel Centre - Capri, Italy -

The gorgeous Capri Island, located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples, has been a resort since the time of the Roman Republic.

The site is known for the lovely Marina Piccola (harbor), the Belvedere of Tragara (a high panoramic promenade lined with villas), limestone crags called sea stacks, the Blue Grotto, the town of Anacapri, and the ruins of the Imperial Roman Villas.

Seriously - what more could you ask for?

Get there by ferry or hydrofoil. There are festivals year round, like the Capri Tango Festival in June and the International Folklore Festival in August.
